“I had the pleasure of regularly eating at Hiro’s restaurant Eis in Albert Park for decades – celebrating many of life’s milestones while enjoying his amazing food, wine and hospitality. Hiro’s transition into catering meant that celebrations could be moved to the comfort of your own home, whether they be larger or smaller, more intimate events with friends and family. Recently, Bob’s (my husband) mother celebrated her 100th birthday and my mind immediately leapt to whether Hiro would be able to cater for this very special occasion. 

The whole process of getting in touch, discussing and outlining requirements and finalising details for the event was an extremely easy and smooth experience. 

Hiro catered a remarkable dinner party for 14 family members, travelling all the way to Colac to personally prepare and cook the food in Bob’s Mum’s kitchen – even using quite an old oven in doing so! The food was phenomenal – both in taste and appearance, everyone was able to enjoy the evening without worrying about food preparation and cooking. Bob’s Mum noted that it was the best tasting food to ever come out of her kitchen!  Hiro not only purchased all the food and condiments, but also took care of all the crockery and utensils with absolutely no mess or cleaning up to do afterwards!
